Our favorite way of learning will always be reading books but audiobooks and podcasts come in a close second place. Thoughts truly become things so why not fill your mind with cool stuff while you commute? In L.A. you spend a lot of time in cars either driving or as a passenger in an Uber or Lyft. In other cities, many of you probably take the subway daily. With that said, we have a few favorite podcasts we'd like to share that get us through the toughest moments of road rage. We won't share them all but here's a great place to start:
John Lee Dumas is the founder and host of EOFire, an award winning Podcast where he interviews today's most successful Entrepreneurs 7-days a week. The show is high energy and gives such a great perspective on what it is truly like to be an entrepreneur, it's not for the faint of heart! He interviews a lot of men we realized but lately there has been more women on the show, we hope this continues. JLD has interviewed over 1300 Entrepreneurs and EOFire has over 1 million monthly listens.
Terri Cole is the best friend you need who actually knows what she's talking about. She's a practical yet spiritual life coach who's also a licensed psychotherapist who can get you beyond what's not working. Hello Freedom Always the right amount of woo woo, we will let her introduce herself.
Honestly, what took this guy so long.
With the current political environment, we love DeRay McKesson's new podcast Pod Save the People which gives us direction on all things political and social advocacy. As the most famous activist to come out of the "Black Lives Matter" movement DeRay keeps the conversation intelligent and proactive through interviews with actual leaders like Cory Booker. If you are tired of Facebook political memes and want to hear real social justice solutions subscribe!
Named by Oprah as a thought leader for the next generation and one of Inc.’s 500 fastest growing companies, Marie Forleo’s goal is to help you become the person you most want to be. We were first addicted to her Youtube channel so it only makes sense that she now produces a podcast version. What we love is how short but impactful her segments are. Marie and her guests share actionable strategies for greater happiness, success, motivation, creativity, productivity, love, health, contribution and fulfillment usually with a lot of laughs. From business, marketing and career advice, to tackling failure, disappointment and fear, to philanthropy and doing our part to make the world a more loving, just and equitable place Marie covers it all. Get inspired, grow stronger, more confident and create a business and life you genuinely love.
